Human impact on Ecosystems

Human impact on Ecosystems
Global warming

Ever since the beginning of the industrial revolution, Humans have been burning fossil fules. They have been polluting the enviroment, and putting excess carbon into the atmosphere, thus causing global warming. Global warming is responsible for many different problems currently happening. For example; the polar regions of this planet have been melting and most of the native polar animals are migrating south, and are mating with the native southern animals. This affects the diversity of the animals, what was once 2 different species would merge as one. The melting of the polar ice will also be responsible for the eminent flooding of major shoreside cities.

To my knowledge, as the Earth is now, The enviroment alone cannot reverse global warming. This is so because The Human Species is ran by greed. The richer get richer off of fossil fules and industry, and subtracting thease things affect their flow of wealth. With thease pollutants still being pumped into the atmosphere, the earth doesn't have a chance to repair itself. There are many ideas on how humans can reverse this, by using alternative fuel sources, using factories that produce less pollution, and even by releasing sulfite particles into the atmosphere. This will ease the damage that is done to the enviroment, and hopefully, will reverse the damage that years of wrecklessness has caused.

Though there are many ideas on how to reverse global warming, there are some negative effects that scientists believe could backfire and do more harm than good. For example; The Sulfite Particles that some scientists are thinking will reverse the global warming process by blocking a certain percentage of sunlight from entering the earth may cause too much sun to be blocked, causing massave cooling all over the earth, and may even throw the earth into a small ice age.

In conclusion, The Human Race is responsible for global warming and the effects that are attributed to it. Only when we seperate ourselves from our greed and fossil fules may we actually have a chance to reverse the problems that we have caused.
